My Mission Statement

I write to serve, to unite, to educate. I write to share literature and flesh out ideas that may be of interest to others. I write to document an emotion, experience, or a blip in time. My mission is to write in such a way that the reader is reminded that we can find humor in all situations. It's one of the great blessings of life.

Carpal Tunnel Blog Break

My wrist is killing me, a little carpal tunnel kick-up, I think. SO I'll be on a little blog break for a few days or even a week until it feels better. I have a little brace to wear, but darnit, I have to take it off to type which kind of defeats the purpose. So love and kisses to you all. You KNOW I'll be back one week from tomorrow at the latest, the FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL. Of course, my baby starts kindergarten one day that week (I don't know which day yet due to staggered entry), so i'll need my blog sisters to help me along. Anyway, pray for my carpal tunnel, please, my sanity, and my daughter as she tries out of the soccer team. (she's never really played until camp this summer and now she's trying out for a pretty competitive co-ed middle school team--more on THAT later) xoxox Oh, and btw, I'm reading NO MORE DEAD DOGS. Review coming soon. djk

So sorry about your wrist, Donna. Wear the brace and let it heal so it doesn't get worse. You need it, and we need for you to write your entertaining blog. Hugs and prayers.

Hope you're wrist will mend very soon. I'll be thinking of you next week as school starts. I'm so out of the loop, I just learned this weekend that teachers go back on MOn. I'll miss your blog updates.
