The weather this morning is stunning. As I drove the kids to school, mist hovered over the fields. Cotton is blowing everywhere, almost like snow, as the farmer's take it to market. The bay is flat and calm, calling me to kayak or gather a rowing team. Autumn feels so academic, perfect for writing.
So I'm reading AN ABUNDANCE OF KATHERINES and the protag is a teen-age, former child prodigy. He's a fascinating kid, actually, but fraught with social issues (no surprise there). Anyway, my point is that he's into anagramming. It's so cool how he anagrams everything. So last night I wrote down my name, DONNA JONES KOPPELMAN,thinking I'd just do a quick anagram or two. (Japan Pond Kennels Moo) Oh, my, it is so addicting! And I never was able to anagram my whole name (on account of all those Ps and Ns). So I'd like to challenge you to anagram your name or something, and share it. I'll be really impressed and maybe even send you a prize if I can think of a good one. Maybe some of my aunt's great fudge I've been touting.....best anagram. Now go to it! And no cheating with all the great anagram websites. Or at least, be honest about your entry. You know all this brain tickling will help you live longer. Now I'm off to pick up some clothes off my daughter's floor because it's just aggravating me to death, but she WILL be fined.
Have a great day!

My Mission Statement
I write to serve, to unite, to educate. I write to share literature and flesh out ideas that may be of interest to others. I write to document an emotion, experience, or a blip in time. My mission is to write in such a way that the reader is reminded that we can find humor in all situations. It's one of the great blessings of life.
