My Mission Statement

I write to serve, to unite, to educate. I write to share literature and flesh out ideas that may be of interest to others. I write to document an emotion, experience, or a blip in time. My mission is to write in such a way that the reader is reminded that we can find humor in all situations. It's one of the great blessings of life.

Thanks be to God!

Dear God,
THANK YOU! You've really outdone yourself this time! Why am I ever surprised? Your adoring fan, Donna

I guess you got a lot more snow up there than we did here. It started snowing about 10am, covered the ground, mostly, and then quit. I can just see you anxiously peeking out the window when you first woke up at 4:50am. Tell me you didn't wake up the kids to see it!

Enjoy your sled rides today.

I am truly sorry by your lack of snow. I understand that feeling, believe me. If it is any consolation, I am usually the dejected, why does everyone but me get snow girl. Your snow day is coming, honey. Your sleigh is gonna come in one day. Maybe your hearts are just too warm...
