My Mission Statement

I write to serve, to unite, to educate. I write to share literature and flesh out ideas that may be of interest to others. I write to document an emotion, experience, or a blip in time. My mission is to write in such a way that the reader is reminded that we can find humor in all situations. It's one of the great blessings of life.

A very long day

Today was a very long day. I got a ton of things accomplished, amazing, really. Anyway, now I'm home with all the kiddos. Everyone had a great day, especially the kindergartner, so thank you, thank you, thank you to all my dear friends who called and e-mailed. All is well. I survived day 1. xoxox

You'll make it, and believe me, the coming days/years will bring more special times, maybe not like pre-school years, even better in lots of ways. Keep the faith and enjoy knowing you are workig hard to raise them to be creative, independent people who will be able to survive on their own. They will continually surprise you as they grow into themselves and you'll say, "I really liked that age when they...." except it will keep changing, even after they make you a grandmother. They aren't yours, you know, they're Gods. You only get to stand in for him.
So glad to hear something from you. I was aware TODAY WAS THE DAY.
